Instructions for submission

Submit assignment

To submit Assignment 2, you must do the following.

NOTE --- You MUST know your ITEE student login and password in order to be able to submit your assignment.

1. Prepare your java files, Pirate.java, PlankStatistics.java and PercentSaved.java, and check that each compiles and runs correctly using Kawa in the ITEE lab environment, according to the assignment specifications. If you submit files that do not compile or run correctly, you will lose marks.

2. Ensure that the following lines (in comments) are at the top of each of your java files:
     // Family name:
     // Given names:
     // Student number:

Substitute your family name, given names and student number in the above as indicated.

3. On a computer which has access to your java files and the internet, visit the course home page and follow the link to the assignment submission page. NOTE: You will need to enter your ITEE student login and password in order to be able to submit your assignment.

4. Follow the instructions to upload the java files. It is your responsibility to upload the correct files. Please note that you must submit all three files together.

5. When you submit your assignment, you must check a box to state that the assignment is your own work.

6. When your assignment is successfully submitted, you will see a submission confirmation page, which includes your submission id. You must record your submission id; it is your proof that you submitted an assignment.

7. It is possible to resubmit your assignment if you feel you have made an error, provided you do so BEFORE the advertised deadline date and time. Markers will only mark the most recent submission you make; they will ignore any earlier submissions. When you resubmit, you must submit all three files you have previously submitted; all three files must be submitted every time you resubmit.

8. Your mark for the assignment, feedback and comments on your code, and a sample solution will be published on the course web page soon after submissions are due. For this reason, no late assignments will be accepted. You will need your ITEE student login and password to view your mark and code feedback.
