2011-11-03 12:50:33	Just a reminder that all remark requests for A4 & prac exams have to be made midnight on Sunday (one week since the results were posted) This is in accordance with the section 5.4 of the course profile: """ Students who have a problem with their assigned marks, especially apparently unfair computer-based marking or missing marks, must lodge an appeal within one week of posting. """ and """ It is then the students responsibility to check the automarker result for fairness and to lodge an appeal within one week of posting the draft marks. To avoid wasting everybody's time, please ensure that you have valid grounds for any appeal. """ If you don't receive a reply immediately, don't worry, just make sure that your request is sent to comp2304@itee.uq.edu.aubefore the deadline.
2011-10-31 23:55:07	The valid reasons for remarks for prac exams have been changed to include errors with the use of correct types in the sqrt() and pow() functions. Please send an email to comp2304@itee.uq.edu.au with your student number, prac number and the exact change that should be made to your code in order for it to compile (the test cases & file you submitted are available from the results page. Just saying "I want a remark isn't enough", and probably won't receive a response.
2011-10-30 12:25:35	A4 and prac exam results are now available at http://itee.uq.edu.au/~comp2304/results.html The only valid reasons for remarks for prac exams are typographical errors in identifier names.

Please note: - The Monday prac sessoin is already full. - You can attend to only one prac exam

2011-10-19 09:33:09	The due time for submission of Assignment 4 was extended to 23rd of October - 11:59pm. Please note the due time will not be extended again.

2011-10-12 11:54:49	The results for assignment 2 have now been posted. NOTE: no remark requests have been dealt with yet. Please DO NOT resend remark emails. Remarks will be dealt with soon.
2011-10-09 08:33:45	On submitting your assignment, you may notice there is a link for paper-based submission. Please disregard this link/message, as paper submission is not required for this course. In case there is any problem with your submission, tutors will be able to look at your SVN history. Hence, please also commit the latest version of your work to the SVN repository.
2011-10-05 18:01:17	A new version of the spec for Assignment 3, was uploaded; some ambiguities were clarified in the new version. As this modification was made close to the submission deadline, the due date for this assignment was extended to 9th of October.

2011-09-16 10:09:49	Specification for assignment 3 is out now. Please note specification for assignment 4 will be released before the mid semester break. The due date of these assignments are the same, as specified on the course profile.

2011-08-24 14:23:25	Results for Assignment 1 have now been released. If you believe there is an error with your result please e-mail comp2304@itee.uq.edu.au. Please ensure you include your name and student number in your e-mail. Please note we only respond to UQ email addresses.
2011-08-24 11:11:34	Specification for assignment 2 is out now. Please note late submission will loose some marks as specified in the course profile (section 5.3).
2011-08-18 11:18:25	The number of students signed on for prac sessions is as follows: Monday 2-4pm: 49 Wednesday 8-10am: 16 Wednesday 4-6pm: 18 Thursday 4-6pm: 17 It is recommended to attend to Wednesday and Thursday sessions which are less crowded.
