• Software Engineering Practices Survey. The 2006 survey is now closed. Thanks to all 448 software engineers who participated. Summary data is now available.
• Software Maintenance Information Survey/ The 2008 survey is now closed. Thanks to all who participated. Results are included in my Ph.D. thesis.

The Semantic Web

Current projects:

• OWL-DL ontology of software engineering concepts (Source and OWLDoc)
• Example of use of the above ontology of software engineering concepts (Source and OWLDoc)
• The Policy Aware Web Project
• Kowari (an Open Source RDF database with some RDFS and OWL support; now owned by Northrop Grumman Corporation and licensed under the MPL)
• Mulgara (a fork of Kowari, licensed under the OSL)
• Extending NetKernel for Semantic Web processing, including GRDDL extraction of RDF and Mulgara integration.
• Re-architecting the extending the Persistent URL concept (licensed under the Apache 2.0 license).
