Toolboxes
Each
team is given a toolbox for the semester. The toolbox is your responsibility,
students must pay for any lost or damaged equipment. See Steve Wright (47-203)
to collect your toolbox. Please note, your final marks
may be withheld if you fail to return the toolbox and STK500 in the same
condition it was issued.
Your toolbox should contain the following:
- 1 x Toolbox
- 1 x Side Cutters
- 1 x IC Puller
- 1 x Multimeter
- 1 x Set of multimeter leads
- 1 x Pair of wire strippers (Blue)
- 1 x Breadboard
- 2 x Oscilloscope probes
- 2 x BNC - alligator clip leads
- 2 x 4mm to 4mm or 4mm to alligator clip leads
- 1 x AVR STK500 Atmel Programmer
- 1 x set of leads for Atmel programmer comprising,
- 4 x 2pin leads
- 2 x 10pin leads
- 1 x 6 pin lead

Here is a template budget you can use for your product. Remember that if there are any errors in your product budget, your product mark will be penalised.

You can download the Altium Tute if you wish to bring a printed copy to the tute.
The Mechanical Workshop
The
ITEE Mechanical Workshop (50-S106) is available to you so that you can make
modifications to your case.
If you would like the mechanical workshop to modify your case for you (i.e.
drill holes etc.), please ensure you follow these guidelines to
the letter. Failure to do so will result in the mechanical workshop
refusing to help you.
