Outcomes
An advanced, scientifically tailored, nanostructural distributed database will be created by drawing from the strengths of existing open source software and techniques, in particular SIDB and Gallery. The NANO Scientific Image Database, will be accessible through the NANO portal, using "Single Sign-on" authentication and security provided by Shibboleth. Users will be able to access their private files and publish them, with custom defined access privileges.
