- ACE Share Package Manual
- ACE is a C program written by Colin Ramsay and George Havas.
The ACE Share Package is a GAP 4 Share Package developed mainly
by Greg Gamble. Early development was done by Alexander Hulpke.
In GAP 4.2 IOStream functions were added to GAP. With these
Greg Gamble developed the ACE Share Package so that it is now
capable of working
interactively with an externally running ACE process. The interface
is now completely implemented and completely documented.
The current development version is:
ace-all.tar.gz.
To Do:Add some more examples. - Magma package for computing defining sets, trades and nests of small t-designs, Technical Report [.dvi.gz| .ps]
- Describes a MAGMA package
dsgn-package.tar.gz that interfaces with a
design completion C program
gscad.tar.gz
that was used to generate the data in Nests of
designs. The version here will be developed as a Research
Report that doubles as a User Manual. The Tree Search
algorithm that is central to the minimal defining set and
minimal trade search algorithms uses some group theoretical
results that are to be described in the paper following.
To Do:Add definitions, examples, theorems used in the Tree Search algorithm, and an appendix with all functions nicely formatted. - Algorithms for computing defining sets and trades of small t-designs (Paper)
- The group theoretic stuff involved in dsgn-package.tar.gz. The final Research Report will probably include some of this, and vice-versa.
Further results on secret sharing schemes - with Barbara M. Maenhaut, Jennifer Seberry, and Anne Penfold Street.

- This is quite an old draft
Primitive permutation groups containing an element of large prime order, II - No draft. See abstract of Primitive permutation groups containing an element of large prime order, I for what it is intended to contain.
