Assessment
Mid semester exam: 40% (1.5 hours working time, 10 minutes perusal)
Final exam: 60% (2 hours working time, 10 minutes perusal) Assessment Grades: Your final mark will be calculated from the two assessment items. Your final grade is then computed from the final mark using the following table:
Both assessment items will mostly focus on students' understanding of the main concepts, ability to effectively reason about them and perform simple computational procedures to demonstrate the fundamental principles learnt during this course. |
