General Information
Jie Shao is currently working as a Research Fellow in the School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering at The University of Queensland. He was with The University of Melbourne as a Research Fellow in Spatial Databases from November 2008 to June 2011. He received his PhD degree from The University of Queensland in 2009. Before that, he graduated from Southeast University, China in 2004 with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science. Form June 2004 to April 2005, he worked as a software developer for China Minsheng Banking Corp.,Ltd. His research instrests include multimedia and spatial databases.
