Around San JoseI was staying in a youth hostel up in the hills above Saratoga, which is a small (and very wealthy) village on the outskirts of San Jose. One of my day trips was south and out to the California coast, a place called Moss Landing, where I had the pleasure of watching rare sea otters playing in the harbour.
