WORKSHOP ON SPATIAL HANDLING AND REPRESENTATION FOR VISUALISATION AND
REASONING

July 26 - August 1, 1997

Location: Australian Alps NSW (Thredbo or Blue Cow)

The workshop is by invitiation based on the submssion of a two page
extended abstract which must arrive at the address below by June 2,
1997.

The workshop has a focus on the representation, reasoning, storage and
retrival of spatial and complex structural data. Of particular
interest is the visualisation of complex data, rendered in spatial
forms. Papers and presentations are welcome from fields other than
computer science, e.g. robotics, mathematics, education, engineering
and geo-sciences. The agenda is broad and collegiate.

Successful authors will be asked to write a complete 10 page paper for
inclusion in the workshop procedings. Completed papers will be
refereed and a book volume may result. Each paper presentation will be
45 minutes.

Generous accommodation and travel allowances are available to authors
and particpants.
