Great work!  It's a good feeling isn't it?! :)

By the way, you should probably grab the updated compiler toolchain that 
I just announced, it has a few fixups that become important once you get 
to the stage where you are.

TCP/IP is not far from working, I can build the network code, and the 
loopback network device (lo) seems to work.  I can run ifconfig and 
assign it an IP address and so on, but ping never quite works properly. 
  The lo device driver sees that packets, but ping never hears anything 
back from it's recvfrom() system call.  I haven't had a chance to debug 
it properly yet, but if anyone is going to look into it, let me know and 
I'll give you as much info as I have already.
