Hi folks,

Great news, we've got the xilinx EMAC driver working - I've just had a 
lovely flurry of ping packets going back and forth between the 
microblaze board and my linux workstation.

There was a bit of hacking required in the driver, basically the 
alignment issue that I mentioned yesterday.  The EDK team know about it 
and are giving thought to a fix.

I got my workstation to send a ping flood (ping -f) to the microblaze, 
the user performance (log in, shell, ls etc) wasn't badly affected at 
all.  microblaze didn't drop any packets either, which is a good sign.

I'm now just testing a few other network apps, make sure tcp and udp etc 
are working properly - will also look into boa, which is the de facto 
uclinux web server app.

I'll update the CVS today so that the new code is available for everyone.
