Hi John,

Tanks again for your help.
I finally made it :) After checking the project for the nth
time if found, that I had the bits of ETH_TXD and ETH_RDX swapped.
Funny though that I could receive a valid ARP request. 
Linux tried to send an ARP reply which got scrambled up
due to the shifted bits.
Now this is fixed and I had a great time pinging around
an transfering data via tftp.
So now I am ready to have a deeper look into
driver programming issues, when making the sysace driver
from MontaVista work.
