Re: [microblaze-uclinux] Problem with uClinux demo
Hi again,
First, thanks for replying so fast. We've been sitting at school trying
to get things to work but we seem to be out of luck. First we discovered
that XST wasn't included in the package installed, but we managed to get
the ISE Webpack which has XST. When running "make download_prom" we end up
with the following message:
...
Running XST synthesis ...
microblaze_0_wrapper (microblaze_0) -
C:\Temp\vhdl33\mbvanilla_net_v6.1b\system.mhs:51 - Running XST synthesis
FATAL_ERROR:DeviceResourceModel:basnpdevice.c:620:1.23 - bad nph file
Process will terminate. To resolve this error, please consult the Answers
Database and other online resources at http://support.xilinx.com. If you
need further assistance, please open a Webcase by clicking on the
"WebCase" link at http://support.xilinx.com
Could we still have a software problem? Or do we have to do the tweaking
stuff to the /etc-files you mentioned? We've tried a few things but it
feels like we are working blindfolded. Is there anyway we could use the
scripts in the demo package to download a different image.bin to FPGA to
get it to boot properly from flash? Are there any other precompliled
images available? We did try to compile our own but ran into trouble there
as well. Guess an updated demopackage would have been nice ... ;)
