There's something broken in one of your uClibc .config files.

 From the uClibc root, try doing

find . -name 'config' | xargs grep UCLIBC_PRINTF_SCANF_POSITIONAL

and see what it finds - then, take a look at those files, see if there's 
something bogus.

It might also be worth doing a "make distclean" from uClinux-dist, whci 
hwill strip out all of the configs etc.  It's about as clean as you can 
get :)  You will need to re-run menuconfig and select your platform etc.

Yes - the pre-patch dist was totally broken.  I'll look again at this 
patch situation, see what's going on.
