I would be pretty confident that it's big enough.  Previously it was 
possible to crash on only a small cut and paste.

Reverting the TTY_FLIPBUF_SIZE was just to make sure we could isolate 
the effects of the two changes.  I am puzzled by the improvement in 
interrupt response, my memory of thigns is that the ACKNOWLEDGE_AFTER wa 
sthere to achieve exactly that.

If anybody else has a minute to try this out and see how it works for 
them, I'd be very interested in the results.
