[microblaze-uclinux] RedHat 8.0, xilinx_pp3.o question

   I'm trying to move out to the bench from the office, and have installed
the Xilinx ISE and the EDk on my Redhat VMware machine.  Unfortunately, the
xilinx parallel port driver assumes a kernel (2.4.20-18smp), which does not
exist in the real world, as far as I can tell.

  I've tried Googling for the rpm which would contain that specific
version, and was unable to locate it.  Since I have to have a 20-18 version
of the kernel, I'm uncertain of my next step.  I've never compiled a -18
version, and could not find such a version on the Redhat FTP site, either.

    I saw a veiled reference to the "parallel port driver" in the list, but
no details.

  Can anyone shed some light on this?  I can run solely under windows, but
would prefer not to.
