[microblaze-uclinux] New port
Hello,
I'm working on a new port (V2Pro board) and I have couple of questions.
I've built an EDK project like the mbvanilla_net project. The differences
are I have 64MB of SDRAM instead of DDR, no flash, no gpio, and only 8KB of
BRAM. I've tested the memory with a simple test application and all is
okay.
Next, I tried downloading an image.bin. After waiting a long time (jtag
connection), it finish and started to boot but failed with:
VFS: Cannot open root device "" or 00:00
Please append a correct "root=" boot option
Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 00:00
Any ideas what the cause might be?
Other questions are:
How should I increase memory to 64MB?
Is the system dependent on the flash in anyway?
Do I need to disable any options since I have no flash?
Where is the Ethernet IRQ defined (I see the URT/TIMER in mbvanilla.h)?
As far as the BRAM is concerned, it doesn't seem to be used for anything is
it?
Thanks,
