RE: [microblaze-uclinux] uclinux port to Multimedia board
Hi Didier,
opb_zbt_controller has a feature to choose the implementation of "C_EXTERNAL_DLL".
The clock path to external ZBT and a clock feedback from external load form a delay-lock-loop to syncronous the clock.
You need one for each opb_zbt_controller but the available DLLs are rare. There are 5 ZBT bank needs clock on the multimedia board.
Maybe you can choose not to implement "C_EXTERNAL_DLL" and use DCM and BUFG to syncronous these clocks.
Maybe you can use OPB_EMC because it can handle multi-bank ZBT control.
Please check "Xilinx OPB ZBT Controller Design Spec".
Best regards,
Mark

I am trying to get uClinux running with this peripheral (one for each
zbt bank), but it isn't working now, I have a lot of garbage in the
console (strange carateres), and the system isn't responding after
"calibrating delay loop...." perhaps an interrupt problem.

Didier
