I've got the HW platform ready, microblaze without caches, but with
hardware divider and barrel shifter. Everything else similar to what you've
described above. It's about 50% of Spartan3-200k and capable of running
at about 60MHz. As BRAMs are available in small quantities so I'm trying to
reduce bootloader size below 8k, to leave few more blocks for extensions...

Yes, that's my next step. I'll report my progress in The Challenge ;)
