Ron, if you have any control over these things, it might be good to 
generate a change request for the Comms module ver1->ver2 migration 
guide document - just a note to say that the PHY is now wired to address 
0x4 instead of 0x0.  In many cases it won't matter, but in some (like 
today's), it does!  Might have saved some time in tracking this bug down.
