I'm playing with the VMware Workstation right now.  Just installed it
yesterday.  It allows you to run other operating systems (ie Linux)
while also running windows.

I have Mandrake Linux running under it right now and it's working
great.  Right after I send this email I'll be installing the Linux
microblaze toolchain and attempting to build a kernel and a few simple
apps.  I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Obviously with VMware though you have an extra expense.  I think I saw
VMware Workstation for $182 at buy.com.
