RE: [microblaze-uclinux] uClinux on a Spartan3

Hi William,

I'm currently tasked with getting the "uClinux-on-MicroBlaze" project ported
to Nu Horizons' Spartan-3 demo boards. (There are 2 of them; one uses a '400
part and the other can be ordered with either a '1500 or a '2000 part.)

My deadline for achieving this is Feb. 28 and this task affects my
compensation for this quarter. So, I'm highly motivated to complete it. I've
been at it now for several weeks and am actually pretty close.

I'll be posting to and reading this list actively as I wrap up and will be
supporting my port actively afterwards in an on-going fashion, fixing bugs,
writing Linux drivers for the various peripherals on our boards, putting
together interesting user applications, etc.

I've been doing embedded Linux, including hardware drivers and custom user
apps., for about 5 years now.

Here're the links to our 2 Spartan-3 demo boards:

Let me know if you're interested and I can help you get the order processed.

You might also find this link helpful:
http://www.techonline.com/community/ed_resource/virtualab/37343
It's a Spartan-3/1500 "Virtual Lab", basically, one of our S3-1500/2000
boards available for public "play time" via the Web. Sort of a "try before
you buy" deal.

I hope that all helps. (Sorry if it was too long-winded and salesy.)

Thanks.
