Hi John and all,
i have been offline a lot of time, but finally I have already read all
"unreaded" messages :)
We have been working in a new board and we have designed different tools
to test it that i think could be interesting for the mailing-list.
The board has the following features:
* XC3S400 or XC3S1000 Spartan-3 FPGA from Xilinx
* 2 to 4 MB of SRAM
* 4 MB of flash memory
* 16-bit audio codec, with line-in, line-out, speaker and
headphone connections
* Simple VGA port (up to 64 colors)
* 10/100 Base-T Ethernet
* RS-232 serial port
* PS/2 port
* 12x2 text LCD
* Numeric keypad, four switches, six LEDS and four-digit 7-segment
display
* 8 connectors for Futaba servos
* 26-pin (up to 22 user I/O pins) expansion connector
* Two 10-pin expansion connectors (CT standard), one with 5-volt
tolerant inputs
To test it, different hardware peripherals and software programs have
been implemented:
- Audio Core
- VGA Core
- Simple bootloader (based on mbvanilla bootloader)
- Net Bootloader (tiny tftp client to download the program)
- Etc.
Currently there isn't uClinux implementation, but i hope of having time
to begin with it.
Nothing more for the present... :)
Best regards,
Ivan
