Re: [microblaze-uclinux] Nu-Horizons Spartan3 Dev Board Support
Hi John,
Could I take you up on this offer?.. I'm looking to getting something
up and running for this weekend.. or should I say *try* (see below)
Thanks!

Ryan: I would strongly suggest *against* purchasing from NuH.
I purchased that exact board when it was selling for 164$, probably on
liquidation since it was found that the Rev.2 board had a
manufacturing defect. As such, my flash memory is unusable (according
to the EDK memory test) even after re-routing a jumper wire and
hacking at configuration files. I may also add, that there is no
mention of this problem anywhere on NuH's website. How's that for
customer care!?
To further my story, I made an RMA request 1-2 weeks ago, and have
never heard back from them. (my contact was wloveland@nuhorizons.com
btw).
What else can I say, the "base system builder" file posted on their
website is also broken (invalid LOC constraints), the sample code
included with the board is garbage and their documentation is
worthless.
Sorry for the rant, take it as you will, but may I suggest purchasing
directly from Xilinx, or from Xess perhaps.
