I've also made this small modification as well as some changes to the
XBD to reflect pin location changes in the UCF and the EMC driver
settings in the MSS file.

I wonder however, is the sample EDK test application (the memory test)
supposed to work w/o any code modifications there?, currently this is
still an issue (eg: Starting MemoryTest for FLASH ... FAILED!)

Interesting, I'm in Montreal.  May I ask if you still have these
files?, or anything else that could help me out?

I don't doubt it, my frustration comes with the fact that NuH launched
a rushed product and do not seem to offer any after-sales support. 
Once these issues are ironed out (ironically by early adopters such as
ourselves), these boards will become better buys.
