[microblaze-uclinux] no curses library found in uClinux-dist

hello
actually many applications in uclinux-dist like
mysql, httptunnel etc are giving errors while make
what is the reason and how to eliminate them , has anyone gone through that.

and in my application( that is when i added it in the dist i got the following error.

configure: error : no curses library found
-----------------------------------------------
now can anyone help me in finding the curses library
(in case it is present in the dist)
or what should i do in order to include the curses library.
