I removed DEVFS but the problem is the same.

Probably a change from 2.4.22 to 2.4.29 broke the systemace driver.

This time I got another similar message (some seconds after the system freeze)

# mount /dev/xsysacea2 /mnt
Scheduling in interrupt
kernel BUG at sched.c:569!
