Steve,
Thanks for sending me in the right direction. The issue before as we talked about was that I did not think Linux could handle this... I was 1/2 right ;-} I also did not change the code (EMC contoller) properly. It needs to be changed in two files. Anyway, I hacked it so that 16-bit acts as 32-bit read or 16-bit read but only a 16-bit write and all in DATA_WIDTH matching mode. It's freek'n UGLY but seems to work! I actually mounted a jffs2 that I generated yesterday. I also ftp'd files to/from it and they match!
Anyway, I have two more questions:
1). How do I turn off all the messages on bootup (besides level 0 (have not tried, but I remember from before).
2). There was talk of 'surfing' is there a text web browser?
P.S. I still think Linux should be able to handle this.
