Re: [microblaze-uclinux] login issue when booting

John yes it was just the consol issue that got me this far.  And I will check the make file.  Also I will verify that what is posted below is what I was seeing on my screen later today as its already 12:30 AM here and its time for bed.  I am using hyperterminal right now and I think I have the setting correct but could not be 100% sure.   What exactly are the exact properties settings I need?  I have 57600 8 bit no parity and 1 stop bit and xon/xof enalbed and the terminal is set to ansiw

So at least you got past the romfs/init problem?  Was it just the
console issue that was fixed yesterady, or was there something else as well?

check vendors/Xilinx/uclinux-auto/Makefile, search for "root", you'll
see where the default password is set.  It should be root and root....

this concerns me a bit - your console output is all chopped up and
mangled, is this how it looks on your terminal (what terminal SW are you
using?), or is it just a problem in copying it into your email?
