Here is a link for the Avnet LX25 board (ADS-XLX-V4LX-EVL25). Can you please put on the uCLinux web site? This link is only good for a couple of days, so please download ASAP. This is a really educational design.
This board is the Avnet LX25 Eval board. As you have seen many people are requesting example designs for uCLinux on this board.
Here are the features:
1). Working uCLinux and pre-compiled .bit and mcs files.
2). Fully documented and examples of uCLinux commands and how to build the system from scratch (see the included .pdf).
3). 16-bit flash works with JFFS2 filesystem
4). Fully working ethernet.
5). A VERY cool demo of a movie on the pictiva disply that is on this board. It is a clip from starwars. The code was written in 'c' under Linux for MB. Source code for the movie player is of course included. The movie sits in flash and shows how to use the flash system. Also, the movie can be run as a background task - really showing the multitasking capabilities.
6). This is a 7.1 EDK and ISE project.
7). uCLinux image.bin is included and notes on building the kernel for this board.
8). Other boards can be adapted with this design as well...
Again, I appreaiate you help in this matter. It is educational and people can learn a lot from this. Also, you may look at the design to see what you can strip out (if you feel necc). It is a little large, but it does contain a 2MB movie clip.
Thanks for this great forum and answering all my questions over the months during this product develepment.
I would like to thank Steve Sanders at Plexus for all the software help!
