RE: [microblaze-uclinux] XC3S200 with uclinux

I’m busy trying this on the Spartan 3 Starter Board with an XC3S200. But I’m new to all this so things are going slowly

Looks like the chip is big enough, although I don’t have Ethernet yet. There might be space for it. Dunno. Not one of my priorities at this time.

The Starter Board doesn’t have enough ram(1MB) so I’m busy trying to add DRAM to the board.

Regarding not receiving anything, are you sure that the cable is wired correctly?

Thanx,

Errol

Subject: [microblaze-uclinux] XC3S200 with uclinux

Hi i posted a couple of weeks back (rather minimally -my mistake) about the possibility of the XC3S200 runnin uclinux. I found the posts from last November about people attempting this. I was wondering what the conclusion was ? And if it was done are the configuration files are available ? Thanks

Also on a side note - if im not receiving data to my serial port (from simple test apps on microblaze) what are possible causes ? Has anyone experienced this before ?

thanks in advance
