Never mind. It seems to work now. I disabled flatfsd and it broke. I anabled flatfsd and it's fixed. Do you know why this might be?

I just built the kernel from scratch and it had been about a month. It works fine, but what is the new root password? How do I set the root password before building the kernel? It used to be root and password root, but I cannot log in.
