[microblaze-uclinux] the PS/2 mouse doubts

hi all 
actually when i run nano-X i am getting the mouse pointer but when i move the mouse the pointer does not move...any guidlines on this.
the scan code from the mouse is not comming.
the control ,status,data write registers are setting but thr data read register(mouse to system) is not getting set.

where must be the mistake is it in harware or software.
because i have given the address locations and mask  correctly we are using uClinux OS and microblaze soft core processor.
