[microblaze-uclinux] XMD Crashing using NuHo reference design
Hi all,
Have:
NuHo S3-2000 board
Parallel-IV cable
ISE 7.1.03i installed in c:\xilinx7\
EDK 7.1.02i installed in c:\edk7\
ChipScope Pro 7.1.03i
uClinux BSP V1.00a 16mar2005 - unzipped into c:\edk_user_repository\
Dave Banas' NuHo_S3-2000_uClinux_Rel2005062301.zip - unzipped to
e:\uClinux_try\
Followed the Quick Start instructions from Dave Banas:
- copied the VHD files as described (noted that there is a newer
emc_common_v2_00_b\hdl\vhdl core in the directory - ignored this)
- launched XPS, opened the system.xmp, "download the bitstream" built and
downloaded fine
- can see and talk to the bootloader from HyperTerm fine
Problem:
- when I launch XMD, it crashes
- I note that the connect command has some extra switches after the "cpunr
1" switch. The full line is:
"connect mb mdm -cable type xilinx_parallel port LPT1 -debugdevice cpunr
1 -pfs1 port 0 type s"
- after "Loading MHS File", it shows me the Adress Map twice, and then gives
a Windows report.
Tried changing the XMD options to Sim - runs ok (but not what I need <g>)
Changed the settings back - same results.
Thots? anyone?
