I have done this with the ml403 board
using the montavista preview kit . But tried to do the same for uclinux
but did not work right. I recevied an email from paul hartke about
how to do it using the .bin file so I will look at that and let you know
if I am succesful. If you have any success let me know.
Thanks
Brett

systemace boot
Selon mcnernbm@notes.udayton.edu:
Hi Brett,
I just have recieved the ML403 board from Xilinx. There is information
about
creating the system ace file to boot a montavista distribution kernel.
The link is http://www.xilinx.com/ml403, take a look at the design for
mpower
PC and microblaze.
A sfar as I understand system ace can load the FPGA at boot time, reading
the
Compact Flash and dowloading the bistream to the FPGA trough the JTAG link.
It
must then download the kernel image to externall memory, set Prog Counter
to
the start adress and start the processor (either PPC ou Microblaze).
