That's totally bogus - which version of the uClinux-dist are you using, 
and what vendor/target have you selected?

It looks like you or someone else has been hacking on the vendors 
makefile (vendors/xxx/yyy/Makefile)...  Normally it will copy the image 
file into /tftpboot/image.bin

But as the others said, this is the last stage of the build process - 
the file images/image.bin is your image,. ready to boot.  But - the 
probmlem you are seeing makes me wonder about the integrity of the 
uClinux-dist that you have there.
