RE: [microblaze-uclinux] uClinux compile error on "make dep"
It looks like you're using an incorrect FLASH map for our board. If you
'diff' these 2 files, take a look at the difference between the lines that
start, "MBVanilla flash probe...", as well as the lines immediately
following those, which are describing the FLASH partitioning scheme.
In general, it looks like you've made some updates to the source tree from
my "reference" configuration, which isn't necessarily a problem. For
instance, compare your kernel version line:
Linux version 2.4.29-uc1 (root@debian) (gcc version 2.95.3-4 Xilinx EDK 6.3
Build EDK_Gmm.12.2) #1 Wed Jul 27 00:54:47 EDT 2005
with mine:
Linux version 2.4.29-uc0 (dbanas@linux) (gcc version 2.95.3-4 Xilinx EDK 6.3
Build EDK_Gmm.11.2) #4 Mon May 30 05:48:19 PDT 2005
And notice that both the Linux version and the Xilinx EDK build number are
more recent for yours than they are for mine.
Have you turned off JFFS2 file system support in your kernel build
configuration?
'flatfsd' seems happy in your boot log; have you tested it? Try putting a
dummy file in '/etc/config' and see if it stays there across a reboot.
Good luck,
