Hello John,
The attached link doesn't solve the clock problem, but should help with 
fast UARTs, that can crash without patch. Maybe a copy/paste problem of 
your favorite links ...

I didn't check yet, but I guess this patch is also not included in CVS, 
since I stil can crash the UART.

Do you know the link to the clock patch?
