Stupid user problem. I hadn't run make distclean after mistakenly
running `make menuconfig` before I had my correct (and corrected)
auto-config.in in the right place. Now I've got a base system working.

However, I would still like to see the ml401 platform updated to be
useable under 7.1. Currently the 6.3 to 7.1 conversion process breaks
it.
