Better I respond to the FAE question here then going through him.

Write-back caches are on our wishlist but it hasn't been scheduled yet.

Cache coherency is something that I have discussed with John Williams but we haven't come to a conclusion on that yet.
Think we need to constrain the problem a little and maybe also doing some benchmark test to see what solution make sense.
Should it only support two MicroBlazes or should it support N number of MicroBlaze?

I feel that the future is more on distributed processing than centralized processing ala SMP. The memory bandwidth is just too fast becoming the bottleneck of the system. Writeback caches will help but the end result is inevitable that memory interface will be the bottleneck.

My vision is more on 20-100 MicroBlaze and that will just not work with SMP style.
