[microblaze-uclinux] tried to locally thin out uclinux_dist source-tree

Hi,
since we have a local copy of uclinux_dist in our CVS I tried to thin out
the uclinux_dist source-tree and I have (locally) removed all dirs which are
unused in all cases here - just to make things clearer and more simple.
Yeah, calling 'make all' still works.
But 'make menuconfig' crashes in script linux-2.4.x/scripts/Menuconfig in
function activate_menu() line 832 with a mystic error message. The reason
seems to be that it doesn't found my removed files Config.in during its
recursive work.
Now my question is: has anyone a cool fix that script Menuconfig skips all
not existing dirs (==sub menus/entries) mentioned in a certain Config.in
file and doesn't abort? I mean it should be possible that I just get a menu
with entries for existing stuff, shouldn't it...

Cheers
F@lk
