RE: [microblaze-uclinux] parallel cable errors
Hey friends,
I just got a new parallel cable, and I went to put my image onto the
board and the cable driver (windrv) didnt work. I found the drivers on the
xilinx asnwer database and tried to install them by doing:
./configure
make
make install
And I get an error durring install:
FATAL: Error inserting windrvr6
(/lib/modules/2.6.14-1.1653_FC4/kernel/drivers/misc/windrvr6.o): Unknown
symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)
then in dmesg i see:
windrvr6: no version for "struct_module" found: Kernel tainted.
and a lot of unkown symbols that start with class_simple_junk
Anyone experience this error before? I'm perfectly fluent in microblase and
xilinx, but linux is pretty new to me.
im running Redhat Enterprise 3, kernel 2.6.1, edk 6.3 and ise 6.3
Thanks in advance,
Andy
