Re: [microblaze-uclinux] lsz works only with text files

hi
yaa may be H/W problem.
we are using 115200 with hyperterminal.
and in lrzsz we have 9600.
actually if we run
$ lsz filename
command.
the blue window apperars and we receive the file on windows machine in
specified path(given in hyperteminal setting).
so there may be problem in serial communication.

any u want more info , most welcome

Hi,
I use a PC with Suse9.1 Linux and Minicom 2.1.
Are you using Hyperterminal on a Windows machine? Where do you find the
lrz utilities
for Windows?

My steps are the same as you for the uclinux part:

Configure zmodem utility in user dir and launch on the board
$ lsz filename
then Minicom opens automatically a blue window with the transfer
progress info.
Minicom are configured to launch /usr/bin/rz -vv -b as you see on my
Minicom log
in previous email, it's the default configuration. The ttyS is
configured with no hardware
and software flow control at 115200

What baud rate are you using?
If all other people don't have such problems may be is an hardware
problem on my board.
I will dig into it with a scope.

Thanks,
Claudio Lanconelli
