I never got working the xpc4drvr on my Suse9.1 Linux, Kernel 2.6,
so I fall back to compatibility mode, it's slower but worked.

yes, I know it take longer, but it should take the same time using 
Microblaze3
or Microblaze4 cores, instead with the same hardware and same PC it takes
1 minute with Microblaze3 and 4-7 minutes on Microblaze4.
May be Microblaze4 don't work well without xpc4drv?

Thank you anyway. May be there is no solution other than use a Windows 
PC to download
the image. Is it possible to run XMD server on a Windows PC and the xmd 
script on another
Linux PC?
