[microblaze-uclinux] TCP/IP Networking

Hi All,

I am following the descriptions for TCP/IP networking on Johns
web site, but am getting stuck:

1) telnet from a remote host fails:

85 cpu10:~ >telnet mb
Trying 192.168.1.99...
Connected to mb.
Escape character is '^]'.
telnetd: All network ports in use.
Connection closed by foreign host.

2) NFS mount on the MB does not work

# mount -t nfs 192.168.1.40:/home /mnt -o rsize=4096, wsize=4096
mount: RPC: Unable to receive; errnnfs warning: mount version newer than
kernel
NFS: mount program didn't pass remote address!
o = No route to host
mount: nfsmount failed: Bad file descriptor
mount: Mounting 192.168.1.40:/home on /mnt failed: Invalid argument

ping works both ways ...

Any ideas suggestions ?

Thanks,
rudi
