Subject: Re: [microblaze-uclinux] Redirect kernel boot messages
Hello,
this was a general question.
can the console option be "hardcoded" into the image.bin?
@antti:
btw. how can the bootloader on the hydraxc give options to the kernel?
especially on the hydraxc-10 were the bootloader can not be altered.
sure the bootloader can be altered on hydraxc-10 too, the only difference
is that in xc-10 the microblaze bootloader receives the image being
pushed-in
via the jtag-bscan while in all other models the soft-core cpu in FPGA is
reading directly from mini-SD card.
the bootloader for xc-10 is on the CD-ROM that is shipped with the module
it can be of course modified, to provide additional processing after image
load and before image is started
Antti
