Re: [microblaze-uclinux] Got uClinux login prompt but not the boot log

Thank you for your fast reply Dries.

I tried with a baudrate about 9600, it gave me exactly the same as before (with 115200).

I changed it in XPS (uartlite) and in "/etc/inittab" but what are the "..." ? ;)
Seriously, is there anything else to edit to modify the baudrate ?
I don't really understand how it works cause my first try was to regenerate the FPGA configuration with uartlite's baudrate at 9600 and download my "old" image.bin (configured to 115200) and it still worked fine (when I mean "worked", I mean I still got the login prompt without boot log).

I believe in that I forgot somethin' in kernel's config but how can I revert kernel's config by default without checkin'out the CVS repository ? (I'm quite new with kernel (linux) compilation, in the past I always used precompiled binaries).

Regards,

Matthieu

Does anyone have ever experienced this kind of problem ?
Why do I got this ?
How to fix it ?

I think there is something wrong with the speed of your serial console. If you configure everything to be 9600 baud (uartlite, getty in /etc/inittab, ...), you normally should be safe.

Cheers,

Dries
