I am a Xilinx IP software engineer and we plan to borrow your auto-config idea when developing MLD for WR GPP Linux 1.1/1.2 and MV Linux 4.0. Here are some related questions I have about auto-config:

What’s the benefit of auto-config?
Which script(s) or tools convert the generic looking auto-config.in into .config file for building kernel?
What’s the latest Xilinx BSP version? 1.00d?
