hi sweta
You can find lcd.c in path
/linux-2.4.x/drivers/char/
and try to port this after make menuconfig and selecting the option at
there.
actually three types of drivers are here - 1. char, 2. block, 3. network.
becoz to write ur own driver is difficult, so try to understand the
existing driver.

Hi all,
I have ported uClinux on ML 402 Board. I have 16x2 character display LCD on
the board.
I want to have LCD driver for uClinux-microblaze environment.
Can u pls. tell me whether I need to develop it from scratch or to just
port ?
Is it already available in uClinux ? If yes, then where ?
How can I check it??
Actually When I enable the customize vendors setting option, I get LCD as
option.
If I disable the customize vendors setting option, I don’t get this option.
For what purpose is the option LCD given? I am not clear for that.
Please help me out….
